Electrical connection for 2 lights under tray (simultaneous lights )

Principle: The  two lights on the under tray must have two functions:  NIGHT  5W and  STOP 21w.  For the European regulation  this   small diameters lights must have  bulbs with single filament. 

2 possibility for connection:

 First solution: One light  5W for night function and a 21w light  for Stop function, 

Second solution : With the specific connection and the  adapted resistance included, In this case both lights include 21w bulbs and the are used with 2 intensities  for night and Stop.

Setting

  1. Verify to have  a 21w bulb in each lights. 

  2. Install the resistance with its aluminum support  as showed on the picture  : ATTENTION: Avoid any contact of an element with the resistance  and the aluminum support, The frame is used to carry the heat .

  3. Connect as the upper diagram

 

    REMARQUE:

For LED lights ,

The resistance is include in the bundle :

 red wire =+stop

small black wire =+night

big black wire  = -Ground

 

Note: This setting has been successfully tested in our workshop . It is recommended to use the services of a professional . No guaranty   could be involved in case of deterioration with a bad  connection.
